At St Ann’s Hospice, there’s one thing that motivates us and that’s providing excellent care and support to those living with or affected by life-limiting Illnesses. We are looking to recruit a sensitive and empathetic individual who will be committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness around the hospice. You will need to be willing to support the needs of our residents and have a good understanding of the importance of ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors:

Location: Macmillan Unit (Macmillan Caring Locally)
Macmillan Caring Locally is a small charity based in Christchurch Dorset. Although we share the Macmillan name, we are in fact not connected in any way to the national organisation Macmillan Cancer Support. Our primary aim is to provide funding for the Macmillan Unit at Christchurch Hospital, which is a Hospice, a specialist palliative care ward and a centre of excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our fundraising team, working with our amazing local communities who support the work of the Hospice. Could this be you? Our Fundraising team support a wide variety of community events, from our popular Overseas Treks to sky dives, coffee mornings and much more! As the Hospice for North Lancashire, the South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire, you will spread the message about our work across this very same area, supporting loyal fundraisers with their own events, and developing new income sources – this role is perfect for someone who loves variety, adventure, has strong organisational skills and relishes building relationships. No two days are the same. You will be part of a passionate and driven team who play a vital role in raising money to directly support patients and their loved ones.

Location: Blythe House Hospice
We are seeking a proactive and outgoing individual who is looking for a new challenge with an opportunity to make a difference to local people. The successful candidate will be warm and friendly with outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal, and be used to working in a fast-paced environment with many conflicting priorities. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage.
