We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Community and Events team as a Senior Fundraiser 37.5 hours a week.
Technical skills and knowledge required will usually be obtained by holding a Higher National Certificate qualification in Event Management or Business Administration, or equivalent.
A Certificate in fundraising qualification from the Institute of Fundraising is desirable.
Clear working knowledge and understanding of project management, sales & marketing and customer/donor development.
Previous experience in the management and execution of events or promotional activities, working with the public, producing promotional materials and managing budgets & financial control is essential.
Established and demonstrable experience in a business administration or customer service focussed role within a similarly sized organisation.
Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising environment and dealing with donors and the general public is desirable.
Previous experience in dealing with face to face contact with customers and the development of positive customer relationships is essential. The post-holder should have a demonstrable ability to deliver high levels of customer service and support.
Ability to influence, encourage and motivate individuals, businesses and organisations by use of persuasive and creative communication. Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive relationships with key partners.
