Arthur Rank Hospice
Campaign Date: Tue 3rd October 2023
Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, working in conjunction with Majestic Publications, produced a simple but incredibly useful publication – Ducks in a Row. As a place for patients and their loved ones to record their life admin, the Ducks in a Row was planned to be used within Day Care. However, through some simple but effective promotion of the publication, the hospice has seen wider community engagement including with people who have no previous links to the hospice. Add in a rise in volunteers, legacy enquiries, and donations, the publication has proved to be a success on many fronts, many of which were unplanned. Rachael Brown, Future Gifts Manager, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, and Jane Montague, Director, Majestic Publications, talk about the publication and the simple actions taken that have led to so many unexpected wins.
