The successful candidate will undertake important administration work related to our weekly lottery, and be responsible for keeping our donor data up to date and accurate, alongside stewarding our incredible supporters, ensuring they receive a high-quality experience.

As the Lottery Fundraiser, you will develop and implement strategies to maximize lottery income for Overgate Hospice. Acting as the main contact for Sterling, you will ensure effective collaboration and adherence to contracts. You will create marketing plans to attract new players and retain existing ones, sharing the impact of their support through storytelling and social media. Additionally, you will enhance the Overgate Hospice Lottery brand, ensure the lottery's presence at all Hospice events, and produce effective marketing materials. You will recruit and manage volunteers to promote the lottery within the community and work with the Fundraising Admin Team to address queries. By connecting with Lottery Fundraisers at other Hospices, you will explore growth opportunities and monitor player numbers and compliance measures. Supporting the Individual Giving Manager, you will develop the annual lottery budget and contribute to other fundraising activities. As part of the Income Generation team, you will share insights and knowledge to enhance overall fundraising efforts.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with the wider fundraising team to maximise income generation and share best practices. With a keen understanding of gambling laws and a commitment to exceptional supporter experiences, you’ll drive continuous improvement and innovation. Your proactive leadership will shape a positive team culture and ensure that our individual giving activities contribute significantly to the success of Overgate Hospice’s mission.
